The short version
Delko is a tool that car salespeople use to keep track of their own customers. If your information is in Delko, it's because you shared it with a salesperson — by filling out their form, booking an appointment, responding to their ad, or doing business with them. Your information belongs to that relationship. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to advertise to you.
What we collect
When you submit a form on a salesperson's page, book an appointment, or respond to their ad, we store what you provide: typically your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle you're interested in, and — if you choose to share it — your birthday. Salespeople may also add notes about your conversations and purchases to keep serving you well.
How it's used
Your information is used by the salesperson you shared it with to respond to your inquiry, schedule and confirm appointments, and stay in touch about your vehicle — including automated emails sent on their behalf. Text messages are sent personally by your salesperson from their own phone, not by our system.
Texting consent and opting out
You'll only receive communications where you've agreed to be contacted, and every form that collects your number says so explicitly. To stop: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or simply tell your salesperson. Opt-outs are immediate and permanent.
Who else sees your data
We don't sell your information to anyone. It lives with a small set of service providers we use to run Delko — secure database hosting (Supabase), web hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), and payment processing for salespeople's subscriptions (Stripe; we never see your payment details, and customers are never charged by us). If you responded to a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta transmits your form answers to us at your salesperson's request under Meta's own terms.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — permanently. The fastest route is asking your salesperson directly; you can also email us at hello@delkoauto.com and we'll handle it.
For salespeople using Delko
Your book of business is yours. You can export every lead and customer at any time, including after canceling, and deleting your account permanently erases your data. Only add customers you personally have a relationship with — never import a dealership's database.
